Reviews for Frites Atelier Brussel
Review highlights
Based on 6,415 reviewsFrites Atelier | Brussel is widely recognized for its high-quality Belgian fries, praised for being freshly cut, made to order, and cooked in vegetable oil, appealing especially to vegetarians. The restaurant offers a variety of inventive sauces that enhance the experience, with specific dips like Andalouse frequently noted for their flavor. The staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, often displaying warmth and helpfulness regarding dietary options. While the casual counter-service model is efficient, the lack of table service and occasional long lines contribute to a somewhat noisy and bustling atmosphere. The interior is appreciated for its stylish design, but its popularity can lead to crowding during peak times. Some customers express minor reservations regarding menu availability and portion sizes for certain items, yet the overall sentiment highlights the venue as a must-visit spot for fries lovers seeking a tasty, vegetarian-friendly alternative in Brussels.
Excellent fries. Must try if you are visiting Brussels. Staff very welcoming and made sure that we were aware of the vegetarian options available, once we explain our dietary restrictions. There is no table service. You have to pick up the fries from the counter once your buzzer goes off. The price were amazing. The great thing is that they are fried in vegetable oil, not lard as maybe the case and some other places. This is very close to the Marriott Brussels Grand place.
Very nice place ,delicious fries. They have good Omer beers and lots of special sauce. Very kind staffs and they always smiling:) thank you. I cannot stop myself while eating fries in here.
A pleasant spot to try Belgian fries. It has a nice interior, but since it’s often packed and there’s usually a long line at the counter, it tends to get a bit loud. The fries and sauces are solid, though a bit too heavy for my taste.
Attended first time for fries and dips and were really impressed. Fries are vegetarian not cooked in animal fats like most other places in Brussels so this appealed to us. The Andalouse sauce was amazing. We attended a second time and this time was abit disappointed as they weren’t offering any of the burgers on the menu and the cheese croquettes we ordered came as one single croquette for €5.50 (we expected atleast 3 for the price).
Excellent fries!! made to order, freshly cut and delicious all vegetarian options!! Cool place with super friendly staff - A+++ Opted to go with the simple classic but you can get various loaded fries too! Definitely worth a try!
Frites Atelier offers a refined take on the classic Belgian fry. The fries are impeccably crispy on the outside and tender inside, complemented by a selection of unique, house-made sauces. The upscale interior provides a pleasant dining atmosphere. While the prices are higher than traditional friteries, the quality and presentation justify the cost. It’s a delightful spot for those looking to indulge in a gourmet fry experience in Brussels.
The best fries. This is a famous spot in Brussels, and it definitely lives up to the hype. If you get the chance, you have to try them. The croquettes were also fantastic!
Best fries ever! A friend once asked if I could really tell the difference from regular fries and the answer is a big YES. These fries truly melt in your mouth! They also offer a great selection of sauces, which take the experience to the next level. For around €5, you get a generous portion of fries and two sauces, great value for the quality. Highly recommended!
